Hollywood has a way of making us feel real emotions that we don’t feel every day. Films are what bring us to life even more so. But what do they need to be truly successful? The writing, the score, action (if any), the editing, and the acting from the actors/actresses. Even if they have those, it must be done well. The actors/actresses are what really bring the characters to life and make the emotion of the dialogue. Without them, there wouldn’t be a film to begin with.
With so many actors and actresses today, and great ones as well, it’s difficult to choose just one that I would consider my favorite and spend my day with. Robert De Niro is a great actor and has been in many successful films, but I don’t think I would want to spend the day with him. Same way of thinking with Michael Fassbender; great actor, don’t want to hang out with.
Emma Stone is one of my favorite actresses among others. However, she is the one I could see myself spending my entire day with and actually having an enjoyable time. She has been in the films “Easy A,” “Birdman,” The Help,” “Zombieland,” and the award winning “La La Land.” All really good films that all have a bit of comedy in them, with a tone of serious as well. My opinion, as this paper is one big one, is that she does well in all of them. My favorite performance being in “Birdman” with Michael Keaton. If you haven’t seen that film, please do, as soon as possible.
If I were to spend the day with her, somehow, I would suggest going to this place in Los Angeles called “Veggie Grill” that serves vegetarian and vegan options because she is a known vegan. Plus, it would be interesting to have some vegan food, as I am not familiar with it. We could talk about her views on animal welfare or her reasoning for becoming an actress.
After we eat, we could go to Santa Monica and get on the rides there. The time it takes to get there should lessen our stomachs so we don’t throw up on the rides. Just forget our worries and have an enjoyable time with each other. Next, we would go to the Griffith Observatory where they shot some scenes from “La La Land” and sing the songs from the film. Because why not? The songs are original and sound great.
During this whole outing, I would ask about working with Ryan Gosling and Michael Keaton, how they shaped the way she acted in the film or didn’t. It would be interesting to know what made her get into acting, as I’ve said already, and wonder about her life outside the film industry.
All in all, there are so many great actors/actresses out there, that I really don’t know what I would do If I ever had the chance to hang out with them. Do natural stuff that I do with friends: movies, eating out, going to the beach, amusement parks, and traveling. With Emma Stone, I think we could become good friends, she seems like an easy going individual.
