Films That Are So Bad, You Have to See Them

There are millions of films out there, but only half of them are actually good. What about those films that are bad? There are many, many bad films out there, but only a few are so bad that they have to be watched for the content of ridiculousness.

Films can be anything nowadays since the code has been banished. Now there are films about sharks in a tornado forming mayhem within bad acting. Or a there are films about a killer tire. Yes, a tire. So, if you ever had a wacky idea for a film, there’s a 99% chance that you can achieve success through them.

Neil Breen is one of those filmmakers that make films for the sake of making one. He portrays himself as God in almost all his self-made films. Although, his films are filled with bad acting, horrendous shots of his face for no reason, and plot lines that lead nowhere, audiences are still intrigued. It’s so fascinating to see a guy work on something for himself and he thinks that his films are the best (IMDb).

Cult films like “Trolls 2” (1990) and “The Room” (2003) are known to be one of the most famous of the bad films that you must see. “Trolls 2” is filled with a hilarious sounding soundtrack that may have been made with a 1980’s Casio keyboard, bad acting (a given with these films) and an unforgettable scene where one of the kids is being eaten after being turned into a plant by the trolls. The other kid comes in and scream in monotone, “Oh my god…” but unnecessarily long (IMBd).

Next, “The Room” (2003) is also known for being the worst film ever made due to it looking like a 1980’s cry for help. “…the dialogue is at times unintelligible and the acting is embarrassingly over the top” (Phillips). It seemed like Tommy Wiseau, the creator the film, had no idea what he was doing and had no idea how over the top he was coming across.

“Dune” (1984) is one of these films as well. You wouldn’t expect director, David Lynch, to be in this genre, but here it is. “Dune” was based on the sci-fi novel and then was immediately turned away by critics. “Lynch’s big budget debut hit theaters in 1984 and was immediately marked as a frustratingly epic misfire by critics” (Phillips). It was a real mess because you have know idea what you are watching and there’s so much dramatic moments that don’t need to be there.

What films will you be watching? Invite some friends over and get tipsy with the films that are so bad, you must see them. From Neil Breen to Tommy Wiseau, you can’t go wrong with watching them. B rated films are also to be on the lookout for. Usually, the B rated horror films are bad in itself so they can watched with this same mindset.
